Papa Donger decides to send a message to someone, but ends up choosing the wrong name, rolling a crit success and having a conversation with a dead man. Then he leads Kervalin and Varia to the Earth Temple and explains to them that to store their souls for the Earth Temple they must kneel before the entrance and after. They encounter a ghost with nothing around to let them see it and are lead on a marry chase through the catacombs all the while, the Adventurers were hearing strange voices in their heads. Varia and Kervalin lose Papa Donger when they get split up. Papa discovers a large creature with multiple tentacles and almost gets ripped apart by it before Kervalin and Varia save the day. Though all of them almost died, everyone did make it out alive and Papa Donger collected his soul at the exit.
