Y2 D2-4 Return to the Earth Temple

Kervalin continues his search for horses, sort of. Mostly trying to survive north of the massive river he crossed. Fortunately, the Peddler's town is warm and welcoming. Meanwhile, Tau, Rhopocu and Papa Donger continue their journey into the Earth Temple, choosing to head left into the catacombs and ignoring the main path. Tau observes a device on the ground, and being the Scholar and not a Field Expert, quickly runs right over to the device to examine it and sets it off, causing the ground to warp into mud, slowing all within. They worked out of that trap and into the next room where they found bright glowy mushrooms. Soon they discovered the tunnels were not abandoned as something out of sight attacked Tau. They made the way through 2 of those creatures and some traps easily spotted by Tau but soon decided to go back as they had spent much energy and taken a bit of damage.
