The members of The Iron Order quickly get to trapping. Lots and lots of trapping. Merios set out to fill his water once again but when he got to the river he ran into a woman, bathing in the stream. He called from afar and frightened the woman. She swam away, diving head first into the water and revealing a fish like tail where her legs should be. Being very thirsty, Merios had no choice but to drink there. He filled his waterskin and then took a drink. The water made him feel energized and as did the drinks he stored.
After spending some time in the Ash woods and finding a stone tablet with strange writing on it, Polcul needed water also. He meditated to ask the gods where to find it and they told him the direction to the closest water. Unfortunately, between Polcul and the closest water lie a mountain. Polcul spent all his energy running in the mountains toward the water only to find it, at the bottom of a cliff. Succumbing to thirst and out of energy Polcul had no choice but to leap into the water. With a little luck, he was able to survive the jump into the water, but it he was just too tired to make it to shore and drown...Polcul washed ashore and lie unconscious until midnight that evening. When he awoke from his experience he decided to go by his full name, Rhopocu, given to him by his parents, meaning Silver's Honor in an ancient tongue. The next night Rhopocu was building a fire when a boat come rowing upstream. The commander of the three man craft named himself Cpt Caymen of the Royal Lizard People's Army and informed Rhopocu they had just been visiting The Peddler's village and asked to share his fire. Rhopocu agreed and as his men cooked a stew for the four of them, Caymen and Rhopocu conversed.
Tau spends his days continuing to dig a well in search of ground water. Papa Donger finds another source of water to the east and while there he traps some critters and uses their skins to craft a second waterskin.
